Thomas Schnöll

Mr. Schnöll was responsible for the coordination of IBMI’s European activities. He was actively involved in delivering results for client companies throughout Europe.

Mr. Schnöll is actively involved in a variety of consumer related business activities including franchise development, property management, marketing services for and with the European markets. He is founder and a principal of Golf Friends, a European marketing company specializing in the adapting golf as a marketing medium. He was instrumental in revolutionizing point of sale marketing within “big box” European retail.

He was also a Technical Consultant to the sporting goods industry, specifically for the plastics and composites sector. Trained as a materials and process engineer, his major consulting projects included the development of plastic injections for retail marketing, assisting in the development of a new tennis racquet manufacturing facility in India; reducing racquet manufacturing costs by 20% for Fischer and developing new racquets and other sports products for Lisonda do Brazil, Franklin Sports, among others.

Mr. Schnöll also held the position of Production Director for tennis racquets at Snauwaert in Portugal. Through his efforts quality he improved operations by instituting new production technology allowing daily output to be increased increased from 450 to 1100 racquets per day and manpower was decreased.

He also spent two years in Brazil where he set up and ran a tennis racquet production facility for Kneissl and Prince Manufacturing. Before his transfer to Brazil he headed the Tennis and Industrial Products Development Division at Kneissl in Austria.

Mr. Schnöll has a technical education with specialization in the processing of synthetic materials. His mechanical Engineering degree was earned from WIFI Innsbruck and his REFA Diploma from WIFI Salzburg. He makes his home in his native Austria. He is fluent in English, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
